
Austrian Company To Build In Bartow County

Automotive industry supplier, voestalpine Metal Forming, under its automotive body parts unit, will build a new $62 million facility in Bartow County, creating 220 jobs. It will be the company’s first manufacturing facility in the Southeast United States. The company provides a range of pressed parts in the body-in-white segment, as well as innovative structural components. The company supplies to leading auto OEMs and auto suppliers. Voestalpine Metal Forming will have access to Interstate 75 and the Port of Savannah from its location, and will be the anchor tenant in the Highland 75 development, which is a certified shovel ready 707-acre industrial and corporate park.
