IEDC Training Course: Neighborhoods Development Strategies

This course is held in partnership with Maryland Economic Development Association(MEDA).
Neighborhood economic development programs strive to improve the economic well-being and quality of life within a city or region by providing jobs and strengthening the tax base. Join IEDC and MEDA in Baltimore this September for an overview of the basic tools and strategies used to economically improve neighborhoods.
This course teaches participants how to identify the major neighborhood actors, their objectives, and strategies for redevelopment, in addition to understanding the process for creating a strategic economic development plan to meet their neighborhood development goals.
