Raytheon Announces New Office Complex in Dallas Metro
25 Apr, 2014
The Raytheon Corp. has announced plans to move its Garland, Texas, operations to a new office complex to be built at the CityLine development in Richardson, Texas. CityLine, a 186-acre mixed-use project, is being developed by KDC. The focal point of the initial phase of CityLine is the CityLine Plaza, a centrally located urban plaza that will host concerts and festivals, and gathering spots for meetings or meals. Raytheon will occupy 489,000 square feet in three buildings. The company will begin its move in the fourth quarter of 2015, depending on the construction schedule. “Our new offices will also help us support the missions of our customers and will better reflect our role as a global technology and innovation leader in such areas as information processing, big data, cyber security and weather data exploitation,” says Lynn Dugle, president, Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services. The new site will support 1,700 employees; the company employs nearly 8,000 people in north Texas in its various operations.
