Mississippi Offering Twitter Tuesdays in December

Mississippi Development Authority and Mississippi Economic Development Council are partnering to offer Twitter Tuesdays, informative social media sessions geared toward smart marketing for economic developers and chamber professionals during the month of December.

Each two-hour session offers an introduction to the powerful platform of Twitter while also touching on Facebook and other social media channels. Participants will receive a session workbook and have the opportunity to ask questions specific to their communities.

Learn how to compose your tweets for maximum effect, and why retweeting is vital to your community’s social media voice. From big picture trends and statewide news to specific events that promote your community, effective social media marketing gives you a robust pathway to your stakeholders and prospects.

More training workshops will be provided after the first of the year as part of the MEDC/MDA marketing taskforce initiatives for promoting Mississippi.
